Polybius Arcadia

Polybius Arcadia is a compilation of entries for two CY_BORG related game jams:

• the Polybius game cabinet was created for the URBN_LGND.exe game jam
• the arcade heist was created for the Trigger Warning: Trigger Happy Jam

Inspiration for this project was taken from the urban legend of Polybius, an arcade game that might have or might have not appeared in 1981 Portland, OR as top secret, governmental, conspiring, crowdsourced, psychological, mind control experiment. The game was highly addictive, with unpleasant side effects. All game cabinets disappeared without a trace. Polybius was the greatest game that never existed!

This project is currently in its alpha stage, with early versions published for its game jam entries. This is a WIP with updates on graphic design and layout to come. I envision building new mini games for different arcade games and filling the arcade with life, to give players more things to explore and encounter.
